As for cancer prevention, it is scientifically proven that beta carotene reduce the risk of lung, breast and colon cancers. The reason is that falcarinol and falcarindiol available in carrots cause the anticancer properties. In terms of anti-aging issues, beta-carotene acts as an antioxidant to cell damage and additionally  slows down the aging of cells.

Among other  benefits that are often overlooked we can enumerate better skin, powerful antiseptic, heart disease, body cleansing and stroke prevention properties. It should be mentioned that vitamin A and antioxidants protect skin from sun damage. Vitamin A prevents premature  wrinkling, acne, blemishes, dry skin and uneven skin tone. Carrots are used on cuts either in shredded raw form or boiled and mashed.  Those veggies also lower risk of heart disease and cholesterol levels.
